IMPORTANT GALA ENTRY NOTICE
N&D Bagcat Championships 2012 - 17/18 March Sunderland Aquatic Centre
Please note the cut off date for this gala is 3rd February.
A link for the qualifying times can be found on the Galas page and all swimmers who have the times are encouraged to participate.
Swimmers taking part in the Durham VLC gala that already have times but are hoping to achieve more must still submit entries by the 3rd February.
Swimmers achieving qualifying times at the Durham VLC gala wishing to be entered in the N&D Bagcat championships can send late entries by e-mail to Mark Clements at : mailto:markclements67@gmail.com
NOTICE REGARDING NEW PAPER GALA ENTRIES
All parents to note that these entries can be handed to Mark or Denise Clements on either a Tuesday or a Friday night during the normal training session.
GALA FEES AND MONTHLY SUBS
All parents are requested to pay monthly subscriptions by standing order. NB If your child has moved up squads please remember to update your standing orders accordingly. Cheques for gala fees to be handed over to Keith Nelson as soon as possible after the acceptance and rejections list has been published. Cheques to be made payable to 'Chester-le-Street ASC'. We regret that the club is unable to refund any gala entry fees if your child withdraws from an event or a meet.
CLUB LANE
Don't want to compete but still want to swim for fun & fitness then why not come along to our club lane. Cost is £5-00 per month will initially be for members aged 11 years of age & over.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Parents must provide permission if they would like the club to take photographs of their child for web site/promotional purposes. Photo permission forms can be downloaded from the website or obtained from the membership secretary.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
It must be emphasided that parents are NOT allowed on poolside at any time during training sessions or galas and are discouraged from engaging in conversation with the coaches whilst they are supervising children. This is for the welfare and the safety of all swimmers. If you have an issue and need to speak with your child's coach you are requested to wait until AFTER the session. Alternatively, arrange a suitable time to discuss the matter with your childs coach at a convenient later date.
At times the access between the large and small pool can become very congested. It is requested that you move through this area quickly and do not venture onto poolside. All of our staff on poolside have been CRB checked according to the ASA Child Protection Policy. By venturing on to the poolside you are in breach of Clubs Code of Conduct.
All parents of children under the age of 11 MUST remain within the building at all times while your child is at the pool. This is for the welfare and safety of your child.
