For those of you who missed the opportunity to try Abseiling,
why not pop along this year to Moor House Activity Centre (opposite
the Ramside Golf Course in Durham) on 20th September 2008 between
11am & 3pm. This is a great way to try a new skill (or improve on
the skills gained last time) & have some fun climbing down a wall.
There will be a notice put up on the notice board with spaces to
add names & obtain a time slot for your abseil. More details coming
soon.
A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Diddy
League presentation and party in Easy Street wine bar. Everyone had
a great night, great achievments, great food, great dancing & some great
hangovers, or so I hear (Tut Tut)
A great night was had by all - so a big thanky you to Alan & all his
staff at Easy Street who provided the party venue, to Karen & Alan Dixon
who helped arrange the evening, not forgetting everyone who contributed
to the smooth running of the event, namly Ashley Summerell, Helen Morgan
& Steve Thompson to name a few, and last but certainally not least to
all the Diddy league swimmers who once again did Chester Le Street
ASC proud. Well done kids.
